Join the Wallkill Valley Land Trust for a community work day at the beloved Rosendale Trestle on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. It takes a tremendous effort to keep this beautiful scenic viewpoint in top condition. Please consider joining us to help ensure the longevity of this wonderful aspect of the Rail Trail.

Tasks for this work day will include trimming back overgrown brush and clearing out organic matter and trash.

Proper attire (boots/closed-toe shoes) and outdoor clothing needed. Sunscreen and bug spray recommended. Gloves also recommended, we will have a few extra pairs.

Cannot join us on this day? No worries, we will be making WVLT Community Days a habit as there are continued needs on our special properties.

There will be two teams of volunteers for Community Day:

Team A will meet in the Binnewater parking lot at 8 AM. This team will be working on more physically demanding tasks at the base of the trestle. Volunteers on this team need to be physically able to traverse rugged terrain.

Team B will meet in the Binnewater parking lot at 9 AM. This team will work on the top of the trestle on less physically demanding, but still important jobs.

Use the form below to register. More information will be sent to participants via email as Community Day approaches.
