Please come out and help build trails for the land trust and the community.

The WVLT has teamed up with the Fats in the Cats Bicycle Club to build new trails on Joppenbergh Mountain in Rosendale. The land-use management plan, adopted in 2012, included plans to build multi-use trail and single-track mountain bike trails in the northern portion of the property. We will have our first official trail building workday on Nov. 9 at 9 a.m.

• Where: Meet at Willow Kiln park (that’s the parking lot behind the Rosendale Theater).
• When: Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain date or second workday (if needed) will be on Saturday, Nov. 16 same time.
• Who: You, your friends, family, and kids. No dogs, please.
• What to bring: Water, snack, gloves, sturdy shoes, your favorite tool. We will have trail building tools also.
